The Recent Technological Development of Intelligent Mining in China

In the last five years, China has seen the technological development of intelligent mining and theon the work face.With these technologies, the number of miners on the work face can now be significantly reduced.Miners are only required to monitor mining machines on the roadway or at the surface control center,since intelligent mining can be applied to extract middle-thick or thick coal seams.

The stability of roadway driving along next goaf for fully-mechanized caving face is syntheticallyinfluenced by many factors such as intensity of surrounding rock, intensity of coal, mining depth, jointand crack of surrounding rock, mining operation, top coal thickness, width of pillar and roadway sectioncaving face are structured and the grey-fuzzy classification model is established.caving face.

Top-coal caving difficulty degree and rational mining method were analyzedby theoretical method on the basis of the 4th coal-seam condition of Pingshuo Mining area.For improving top-coal caving degree, the parameters of full-mechanized caving mining face were obtainedPractice showed that safe and high-efficient mining with high recovery ratio would be realized by lengtheningmining face and adding mining height in shallow buried hard coal-seam with hard roof.
